Rec@Nite Volunteer Registration

Rec@Nite volunteers support the Cincinnati Recreation Commission in creating safe, engaging Saturday night environments for teens (ages 13-17). Volunteers assist with event setup/breakdown, supervise activities, mentor youth, and ensure safety from 5p - 10p during the summer. Rec@Nite will operate in four (4) locations: Evanston Recreation Center, Hirsch Recreation Center, Lincoln Recreation Center and Winton Hills Recreation Center. CRC's Rec@Nite will also host a community concert on August 1st at Laurel Playground from 4-8:30p.

Volunteer shifts are from 4:30-10p except for August 1st.  The volunteer shift for August 1st at Laurel Playground will be 3:30 -8:30pm. Please reach out for alternative shifts or for volunteer groups. ([email protected])

Rec@Nite Volunteer Areas

  • Check in volunteers will be responsible for scanning in each participant as well advising participates of all established safety protocols.

  • Volunteers in these areas ensures a safe, clean, and orderly environment for athletic activities by enforcing facility rules, supervising participants, and managing equipment.

  • Volunteers in this area will assist vendors with monitoring participation and facilitation of activities.

  • Use QR codes and electronic devices provided by CRC to collect surveys and other relevant data.

Personal Info

In consideration of my desire to serve as a volunteer with the Cincinnati Recreation Commission, I hereby assume all responsibility for any and all risk of property damage or bodily
injury that I may sustain while participating in any voluntary effort, exercise or other activity of any nature, including the use of equipment or while working within a facility of the Cincinnati Recreation Commission. Further, I, for myself and my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, hereby release, waive and discharge the Cincinnati Recreation Commission and its officers, directors, employees, agents and volunteers of and from any and all claims which I or my heirs, administrators and assigns may ever have against any of the above for, on account of, by reason of or arising in
connection with such volunteer efforts or my participation therein, and hereby waive all such claims, demands and causes of action.

Further, I expressly agree that this release, waiver and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Ohio, and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and
effect.

I currently have no known physical or mental condition that would impair my capability for full participation as intended or expected of me.

Further, I have carefully read the foregoing release and indemnification and understand the contents thereof and sign this release as my own free act.
